We're here for you – how can we help?
Would these be helpful?
Is the heat exchanger working properly, when will it need to be replaced?
The equipment is in good condition when the temperature of the district heating return water is below 65°C and there are no visible leaks. Any possible internal leaks in the system can be detected with a leak test, for example. The technical lifespan of the equipment is usually about 20-25 years. If you are concerned, you can ask a district heating professional to evaluate whether the equipment needs replaced.
Is there a district heating network close to my property?
In Tampere and the adjacent urban areas, our heating network already covers 600 kilometres. Our sales personnel can provide you with accurate information about the availability of district heating for your property.
Who is responsible for maintenance of the heating equipment?
Your district heating company is responsible for maintaining the metering centre equipment (stop valves, energy meter and dirt separator). The property occupier/owner is responsible for maintaining other devices.
How can I monitor my electricity or heating consumption?
You can monitor your consumption down to the hourly level by signing up for our free Sähkis service. You can also find the details of your agreements and invoices in the Sähkis service.
